Hyson is a local neighborhood gem for me. As a bubble tea snob, there are a lot of things I consider when trying a new bubble tea place. I think the most important thing to note is that if you are looking for very authentic taiwanese tasting bubble tea, this place probably isn't the perfect fit. However, this is personally the best bubble tea option in my opinion in the Madison valley area. The flavors are super unique and experimental and they have awesome seasonal flavors. This is the place you go too when you're wanting a fun new drink! The espresso based drinks though are where it personally shines for me! The PB&J oat espresso and the banana pistachio are divine. The owner is the sweetest person ever. My in-laws went 3 times over the span of 2 weeks truly because of the great customer service. Boba's are made in-house and all of the flavors are real fruit and no artificial syrups. This has become one of my top favorite local neighborhood shops!

Customer service was outstanding from arrival to departure. Got the UBE and Taro milk tea and must say couldn’t drink it fast enough. And the food (sandwich and Ube waffle) was so delicious.

They're always so welcoming whenever I go in and whenever I call! All their sandwiches and drinks are ICONIC! Don't miss out on the very Seattle pairing of their Combo Sandwich and The Avocado Smoothie! Don't forget to ask for extra butter and paté! This is legit the best avocado smoothie I ever had! Because they added Boba sauce to the bottom of it! It's fantastic! 😍 TEN STARS!!!

I love this neighborhood boba tea spot! From the home made boba to the fresh ingredients to the friendly welcome from the ladies every time I go in, this place deserves my five stars! Give it a try, you'll be glad you did! (PS - there's a large selection of boba teas, smoothies, and yummy sandwiches. No worries if you don't know what you want, any recommendation from the ladies is sure to be a hit!)
