I was impressed with Hyson as soon as I tried them for the first time. Their milk tea tasted like TEA. It's obvious that their drinks use good-quality ingredients. I also love getting their pandan waffles whenever I have an excuse to drop in; although I wish they had a more pronounced pandan flavor, they're wonderful when hot: lightly crisp on the outside & supremely chewy. They stay good even when they go cold, which isn't something you can say of most waffles. Hyson is an excellent addition to E Madison!

I’ve tried at least half their menu at this point and I don’t think there’s been a single miss. Everything here is of high quality. The milk teas, smoothies, and Vietnamese coffees are all good. But the standouts are ones with their house made flavorings. Their Ube jam milk tea might be one of the best in the city. The banana cream latte is excellent as well. They also do made-to-order banh mi which are solid. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Rarely do I go to a place that warrants an instant 5 star google review, but my God this salted cream coffee and pandan waffle are SO GOOD. I love that the cups have a cover to plug the drinking hole to prevent spills. The cafe itself is cute too. Highly recommend!

Great place to get Vietnamese sandwiches, coffee, Boba, and many more. Super convenient ordering system, not too crowded, friendly service. Their banh mi was very flavorful and a great size. Their coffee was sweet, but had a strong coffee taste which I like. Overall great place and I would come back

Edit: Editing this to 5 stars again as they gave me that one free boba like they promised for my inconvenience the last time. And their milk tea is great! My go to boba place from now on. They show open until 9 on google but were closed when we got there at 8.
